MLJ did previously have a website however it was built predominantly using Adobe Flash software which is not supported by Apple devices and this meant large parts of the websites did not function on iPhones and iPads. It is vital in this day and age, as more and more people use mobile and tablet devices to view websites, that websites function properly on all devices and this was an important factor in MLJ deciding that they needed a brand new website.
They approached us wanting a new website building that not only looked professional but also enabled them to show off projects they have worked on. We designed a brand new website for them based around the colours from their logo. We structured the website so that there is a page for each sector in which they work, such as education and healthcare, so that a visitor can easily view MLJ’s projects in a specific sector. This also has the advantage of helping the website rank higher on search engines when people are searching for architects in a specific sector.
The website is built using WordPress which is a content management system and therefore it was easy for us to provide the client with a login so that they can add new projects to the website. This means that they will be able to keep the website updated and it should therefore not become outdated any time soon.
The website also includes a meet the team section featuring a profile of all the directors at the company.
