Hear & Now

Web Design Project: Although we normally build websites for companies in the Hull & East Yorkshire region, we are also happy to work with businesses from outside this region. One example of this is Hear & Now who are independent hearing & tinnitus specialists based in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Mike Wells, owner of Hear & Now, already had a website for his business however wanted a more professional looking website and contacted us after seeing a website we had created for a similar business in a different region.

Hear & Now already had a logo which we used on the new website and we used the colours from the logo (indigo and purple) across the full website. We used modern fonts and icons to give the website a professional feel.

The website features a selection of images from our stock image account which we are able to download for customers at no additional cost. The main image on the website is a striking image of a lady cupping her ear and works really well with the rest of the above the fold design to give the visitor a great first impression of the company when they first land on the website.

The website has pages for all of Hear & Now’s services including Hearing Assessments, Ear Wax Removal and Hearing Aids. Having separate pages for all their services (rather than just listing them on one page) helps Hear & Now to rank well on Google for these services as we are able to optimise each of these pages for search engines with a meta title, meta description and H1-H6 headings. So for example, for the search term “hearing assessments ripon” Hear & Now are the #1 search result on Google and this is the case for a lot of their services.

As with all the websites we build the Hear & Now website is mobile-friendly so looks good on all devices including tablets and smartphones.
