Evergreen Funeral Services are an independent, family run funeral directors based on Hessle Road in Hull with 14 years’ experience in the funeral industry.
They are a newly established business and approached us to develop a brand new website for them. They had already had come up with the name for their business and had had a logo designed so we designed their website around this branding (green colours and tree/forest imagery). They also selected some funeral stock images to use on the website from the image library we have access to.
We built the website to have separate pages for each of their services. This meant we could have a good amount of content about each of their services and could optimise each of these pages to perform well on Google when people searched for these individual services.
Like all websites we develop, their website is built using WordPress (a content management system) which means it is easy to update with additional pages and text. It is also mobile responsive meaning it looks great on all devices.
The website has lots of calls to action so that a visitor on the website can easily get in touch with them. This includes a contact form on every page of the website with various buttons linking to this contact form. The mobile version of the website also contains clickable telephone numbers so that someone viewing the website on a smartphone can easily call the business.
We also run a pay-per-click campaign for them which generates additional traffic to their website. When somebody searches for funeral related services on Google, an advert for Evergreen Funeral Services appears above the organic search results. This is a great way to get targeted traffic onto their website, especially so soon after the website has been launched and is still climbing Google’s organic rankings.
