They offer beautifully renovated self catering cottages and luxury lodges, a well stocked three acre fishing lake and a charming petting farm, ideal for families, anglers and couples.

Barmston Farm Holiday Park came to us looking for a fresh, modern website that would reflect the quality of their accommodation and facilities while making it easy for visitors to book online. Located in Woodmansey near Beverley, the holiday park welcomes guests from across the country, offering a peaceful retreat in East Yorkshire. Their old website didn't showcase the park in its best light or allow for simple online bookings, so the new site needed to focus on usability, design, and functionality.

The new website was designed with a clear purpose: to attract potential holidaymakers and convert them into bookings. With its main audience being people searching for holidays in East Yorkshire, the site puts the booking process front and centre, making it easy for users to secure their stay in one of the cottages. Strong calls to action encourage users to check availability and complete their booking quickly and seamlessly.

Design and branding were built around the park's existing logo and identity, maintaining consistency while presenting a polished and modern look. The colour scheme combines a sophisticated dark grey with a warm beige-gold accent, giving the website an elegant, welcoming feel. The client's own photographs of the park, cottages, fishing lake, and animals are used throughout the site, helping to capture the charm of the setting. A video on the homepage adds further impact by bringing the park to life. Typography was carefully chosen, with a classic serif font used for titles to add character and a clean, easy-to-read sans serif font for body text.

SEO was a key focus during the build. Relevant keywords such as "holiday park" were incorporated across the site to improve visibility, and a detailed "Things to Do" section was added with nine categories highlighting local attractions and activities. This content not only provides value for visitors but also increases opportunities for the site to be found on Google. As the website is newly launched, it is still too early to measure SEO results, but the foundations are firmly in place.

Functionality was also a priority. The site integrates an embedded booking form, allowing visitors to reserve their stay without leaving the website. Mega menus make it easy to navigate, with clear sections for accommodation and local experiences. A live feed of Google reviews helps build trust by showing genuine feedback from past guests.
