Hull Web Design Project: Andrew Welford is a Hull wedding photographer who has photographed 400 happy couples since 2004. He and his team have photographed and filmed weddings at a wide range of venues across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

We created a new website for Andrew Welford Photography which used the business’s existing branding combined with a simple black, white and light blue/grey colour scheme. This simple colour scheme is complimented with Andy’s images which add the colour to the website. The website has a contemporary design and has many modern features including parallax (fixed) background images, subtle animations, line icons and a sticky header.

We set up separate pages for the various wedding venues in East Yorkshire, each of which has text about the venue as well as a gallery of photographs that Andy has shot at weddings held there. Having these separate pages for the various venues really helps Andy’s ranking on Google because we are able to do SEO work on each of these pages to ensure the website ranks well (page 1) for searches for specific venues such as “cave castle wedding photographer” and “rise hall wedding photographer”.

The website features good calls to action including an “Enquire Now” contact form so that potential customers can easily make an enquiry. As with all the websites we build, the Andrew Welford Photography website is mobile responsive meaning it looks good on all devices including smartphones and tablets.
