Usage data – We employ Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) and Google Ads conversion tracking to collect aggregated usage statistics such as device type, pages visited, time spent and referral source. We analyse this information only to understand how visitors use the site and to refine its performance and content. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in monitoring and improving our online presence.
Customer-account information – If you become a paying client we create a customer record containing the billing name and postal address of your organisation, relevant contact details and notes about the work you commission. We need this information to issue invoices, provide ongoing support and fulfil our contractual obligations. The primary legal basis is performance of the contract, supplemented by our legitimate interest in ensuring invoices are paid and records are properly administered.
Spam prevention and security – Every form submission is analysed automatically by Google reCAPTCHA v3 and Akismet. These tools process the IP address, browser fingerprint, referrer and the text you enter to determine whether the submission is genuine or spam. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the integrity of the site and shielding users from malicious activity.
Marketing to existing customers – From time to time we may email existing clients with details of closely related services or limited offers that we believe will benefit them. Such messages are sent under the legitimate‑interest provision of the UK GDPR and each email contains a clear opt‑out link.
How we protect your information
The website is hosted on UK servers operated by 34SP. We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, up-to-date software and regular staff training. How long we retain your data
Correspondence that reaches us via the contact forms, together with the associated Mailgun delivery records and mailbox copies, is kept indefinitely unless you ask us to remove it and there is no overriding legal reason to retain it. We keep this historical record so that we can refer to the full project history and protect our legal position if a dispute arises. Customer-account information persists for as long as you remain a client and for the additional period required by United Kingdom tax and accounting regulations. Google Analytics erases event data after the retention window configured in our dashboard, presently fourteen months. Server logs are kept only as long as they remain useful for security and troubleshooting before being deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
