East Yorkshire Web Design Project: Westfield Country Park is a holiday lodge park situated close to the scenic East Yorkshire Coastline. Residing in beautifully landscaped grounds amidst 37 acres of tranquil countryside it is the ideal place to get away and relax.
Westfield Country Park already had a website for their business, however it was looking dated and in need of a fresh design. We designed a brand new website for them featuring modern fonts & icons, wide images and a straightforward structure making the website easy to navigate.
One weakness with their old website was that it didn’t have information about each of the 30+ individual lodges available to hire and the only way of viewing images of the lodges was to click off the website onto their Facebook page. We created a new “Our Lodges” section on the website which lists all the individual lodges and a visitor can click on a specific lodge to view information and images for that lodge. Each lodge page also features buttons for “Book Now” to make a booking (which takes you through to their booking system) and “Register Interest” which loads a simple contact form that the visitor can fill in to register their interest for that particular lodge.
The “Our Lodges” section features a product filter which means that a visitor on the website can filter the lodges based on various criteria such as “Lodges With Hot Tub” and “Dog Friendly Lodges”. This makes it much easier for a visitor on the website to narrow down lodges and find the perfect lodge for their requirements.
As with all the websites we build, the Westfield Country Park website is mobile-friendly and fully optimised for search engines such as Google.
